BEIJING - Chinese stock markets pulled back on Friday after posting strong gains in the previous day, spurred by the central bank's move to ease restrictions on lending.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 1.1 percent, or 26.2 points, to close at 2,360.66.

The Shenzhen Component Index shed 1.11 percent, or 109.63 points to finish at 9,808.23.

Chinese shares rallied 2.29 percent on Thursday after China's central bank announced a cut in the reserve requirement ratio by 50 basis points, the first decrease since December 2008.
