BEIJING -- Japanese automaker Subaru will recall 36,728 vehicles imported to China due to faulty front windshield wipers, China's quality watchdog said on Sept 26.
The recall, effective as of Sept 28, includes Legacy and Outback models produced between Nov 4, 2009 and May 17, 2011, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine said in a statement on its website.
The statement said Subaru China will offer free replacement parts for front windshield wipers to eliminate risks.
