China opened its annual parliamentary session on Saturday, unveiling a five-year development blueprint and striving to handle pressing economic issues including inflation.

Mr.Ragnar Baldursson, minister and counsellor at the embassy of Iceland as foreign representatives witnessed the session start in Beijing and shares his knowledge about low-carbon cities with China Daily.
