2010 marks the 40th year of establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and Chile. Sebastian Pinera, president of Chile talked to China Daily during his first state visit to the country. The president commented on current bilateral ties, and also shared his personal experience in witnessing the recent successful rescue of Chile’s 33 miners, which was broadcast live throughout the world.
