Li Zonghua is 63 years old and graduated from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts. She had worked in the comrade art troupe before she retired.

Li started to study Beijing opera from being a child. She used to be an actress but changed to be a costume maker as she realizes this is not her strength. Now Li has a costume workshop in Beijing 8.1 Military Region.
