BEIJING - NBA Jam Van, the NBA's premiere interactive fan experience presented by Peak Sports, is returning to China for the seventh consecutive year and will bring the sights and sounds of the NBA to millions of fans in 20 Chinese cities.

Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert will be in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, to tip off the tour, which begins on Saturday and runs through to Sept 25.

The NBA Jam Van is a tailor-made 16-meter-long truck, which transforms into more than 1,000 square meters of free basketball activities providing an NBA experience for fans of all ages and skill levels. The tour will cover more than 20,000 kilometers and travel through four municipalities and 15 provinces.

Hibbert will celebrate the seventh anniversary by participating in basketball activities, interacting with fans and signing autographs.

Peak is returning as the official Jam Van partner while Dongfeng Aeolus will be on board for the first time. The sponsors will host an assortment of branded interactive activities for fans including dunk contests, shooting games and skills challenges.

Since Jam Van first visited 11 Chinese cities in 2005, the tour has continued to grow. To date, Jam Van has visited 35 different Chinese cities and reached more than 14 million fans with the support of 14 marketing partners.

The event has featured 11 NBA players and legends, and mascots from four NBA teams.
