Comment on "Time US stopped blaming others, took responsibility" (China Daily, Aug 8)

The US government should stop blaming China for its own faults. The predicament the US faces now is because of its greed and stupidity. It has been trying to manipulate the market for its own benefit without doing enough to stabilize its internal and external economy. It still uses the old method to deal with new and changing economic situations.

The irony is that capitalism, which lifted it to the top, may be responsible for its downfall. The mega-rich are kicking and squirming in vain to save themselves at the expense of everyone else.
