Company should be punished

Comment on "Shuanghui apologizes over additive scandal" (China Daily website, March 13)

I think that only an apology from Shuanghui company is not enough to set things right. This is a very serious food safety issue and the company should be punished.

Instead of sweeping the incident under the carpet, criminal charges should be brought against the owners, managers and corrupt government officials who allowed this to happen. Otherwise such scandals will keep on recurring.
