Comment on "China, UK must deepen relations" (China Daily, Jan 11)

Mutual trust and complementarity are the key messages I got from this piece. This is something very positive and I hope China Daily will give special coverage to all aspects of Vice-Premier Li Keqiang's important visit to the United Kingdom.

As a Briton I know we have much to learn from China. For example, how does China produce such outstanding mathematic students? I wish my Chinese was better. My New Year's resolution is that I must devote more time to learning to speak, read and write the language.
