Comment on "More Marco Polos needed to know China" (Nov 20, China Daily)

I spent three weeks in China this September with my Chinese friends. The time I spent from Shanghai to the Three Gorges Dam was incredibly interesting. The experience went beyond my greatest expectations.

I have returned home to Canada to share those experiences and to urge more of my country's men and women to visit China, to travel beyond the coastal cities, and to visit inland to better appreciate the vast expanse of China's past and present.

I have also spoken to some Canadians about how China is leaving the Western world behind in many positive ways.
