Ukraine International Airlines announced that its first non-stop flight from Kiev to Beijing is scheduled from Apr 29, 2015.
"Launching non-stop scheduled service between Ukraine and China corresponds with UIA's long-haul operation development strategy," said Valentina Sokolovska, Manager UIA UK & Ireland.
New flights will be operated thrice per week, and connect with double daily service to and from London (Gatwick) in summer 2015.
UIA's network stretches from the UK to Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East including great connections from London throughout Ukraine and to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan and Thailand via Kiev.
Over the past two decades, UIA has had an excellent operational track record, not only the airline sustained double daily operation from London to Kiev, but launched new connecting flights to Tehran, Tashkent and increased frequencies to Bangkok to four times a week last winter, as part of network expansion, combined with western quality operation and product standards. Since its first flight from Kiev to London, on November 25, 1992, UIA has carried over 24 million passengers.
The airline currently operates over 800 domestic and international flights per week, with non-stop services from Ukraine to 40 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America.
Ukraine International is the second largest carrier in Eastern Europe in terms of passenger traffic. The airline continually receives a positive business traveller and frequent flyer feedback thanks largely to its competitive fare structure and operational dependability.
UIA's fast growing partner airline network includes UK regional flights to Kiev via Europe. UIA operates modern Boeing 737 and 767 fleet, with business and economy cabins as well as premium economy on selected long haul routes.
