The 7th annual Global China Business Meeting will be held on Nov 7-9 in Valencia, Spain, with its theme being "Globalizing Chinese Firms".

That was revealed by its organizer Horasis during a preview presentation of this conference in Beijing.

"China and Spain are of great importance to each other, especially in economic fields," said Spanish ambassador to China Eugenio Bregolat who attended the presentation.

As an essential gathering of Chinese companies and their global counterparts, the conference has attracted many Chinese entrepreneurs.

Jennifer Lu, executive chairwoman of World Eminence Chinese business Association, said Chinese entrepreneurs are keen to globalization.

"We gather Chinese businessmen together to invest in many parts of the world, and among some 30 countries we have been to, Chinese entrepreneurs can always find interest in," said Lu. This year, the association will work as a co-organizer of this conference.

"Europe needs China to help it out of the economic crisis, though many have denied it. The aim of this conference might be attracting more investment from Chinese companies," said Geoffrey Lipman, director of greenearth travel, a green economy tourism platform.

"China's lead in the global economic recovery has been underscored by effective government stimulus measures, robust domestic consumption and increasing economic integration on a regional and global level," said Fran-Jurgen Richter, chairman of Horasis.

Delegates will debate the impact of the global economic crisis and how China is shaping the post-crisis world, he added.

The Global China Business Meeting is an annual gathering of Chinese business leaders and their global counterparts. It is held in recognition that growth strategies within the Sino-global framework require thought leadership and mutually beneficial peer-to-peer networks.

This year, the meeting is co-hosted by The City of Valencia, Global Asia and the China Federation of Industrial Economics.
