At least 8 dead in head-on German train collision

BERLIN- At least eight people have died in a head-on train collision in eastern Germany, with some 35 injured, authorities said on Sunday.

The accident occurred when a passenger train collided with a freight train at around 2130 GMT on Saturday, knocking wagons off the tracks, police from the state of Saxony Anhalt said.
