Episode on Tu An starts docu series on translation

The first episode of large-scale cultural documentary series, Translation: A Life-long Pursuit, was released recently. It portrays the translation career of poet Tu An, spanning 60 years.
Launched in September 2011, the documentary series aims to record in 30 episodes the life stories of 30 Chinese translation masters, most of them now in their 80s and 90s, and focus on the development of translation in China.
Another 10 episodes will be finished by the end of this year. The shooting of the whole project will take three to five years.
