Jennifer Love Hewitt lands new TV show

Jennifer Love Hewitt will play a financially-strapped Texan ex-housewife in a new TV show.

The former 'Ghost Whisperer' actress will star in and executive produce the programme - entitled 'The Client List' - where she will play a woman who runs a day spa after she is left by her husband.

The show is based on an original movie on the Lifetime network, in which she played the lead, and 10 episodes have been ordered.

It will air next year, and is the first big role for the star since she wrapped on 'Ghost Whisperer' in 2010.

She is also set to direct an unknown project for Lifetime.

The 32-year-old beauty has recently seen her personal life on the up and was spotted getting close with former 'Bachelorette' contestant Ben Flajnik, just three months after splitting up from Alex Bah.

An eyewitness saw the couple making out in San Francisco, California, saying: "Oh yeah, Ben and Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared to be dating. All in all, Ben seemed to be perfectly content as the second-place loser on 'The Bachelorette'."
