Taxi passengers in one Indian city are enjoying brighter, more colorful journeys after artists were invited to decorate the insides of cabs.

Designers and painters in Mumbai are showcasing their skills by telling the story of the city through fabric, print and color ranging from Indian Freedom Fighters to childhood memories on Juhu Chowpatty beach. The project, called Taxi Fabric, is connecting designers with taxi drivers to transform their previously drab interiors into mobile works of art.
