Pagoda Paris — from an antiques gallery to an antique itself
Location:
8th district in Paris, adjacent to the Parc Monceau. This is the only architecture that is different from others in the city of Paris.
Builder:
Mr. Ching Tsai Loo (1880-1957), a celebrated Chinese collector and dealer of Chinese and Asian art and antiques who came to France in the 19th century.
Uses:
It served as the home of Galerie C.T. Loo & Cie., showcasing an exquisite collection of Chinese and Asian art and antiques. Today, the pagoda continues to be one of the most fascinating buildings in Paris.
