Award-winning photographer Shahudul Alam's latest creation is a photo album that details the author's travels in Bangladesh, Pakistan and China.
My Journey as a Witness, published by Skira, depicts the life and culture Alam explored, together with dream-like sceneries in compassionate black-and-white images punctuated by saturated color bursts.
Born in Bangladesh in the 1950s, Alam was educated in the United Kingdom and started photography in 1980.
Through his powerful lens, he examines the world and seeks to preserve justice and truth.
