Air Macao starts Macao-Jinjiang flights

MACAO - Air Macao, Macao's largest airline commenced its new air route between Macao and Jinjiang Tuesday.

The new Macao-Jinjiang route, which operates on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, is the 21st route operated by Air Macao.

Quanzhou city, where Jinjiang airport locates, is one of the three biggest cities of Fujian province, with more than 8 million inhabitants. Quanzhou is the famous hometown of overseas Chinese and Macao residents.

By adding this new route, Air Macao continues to expand routes to the Chinese mainland and sharpen its competitive edge in the market, said Zheng Yan, chairman of Board of Directors of Air Macao.

Air Macao was incorporated in 1995 and boasts now seven A321, two A320 and five A319. Its network covers 21 cities in Asia, including Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka, Kaohsiung and Taipei.
