Abrupt temperature drop in N China 

Extreme temperatures cause icicles to form in a woman's hair in Beiergenhe city of Hulun Buir, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Nov 13, 2011. It is now below minus 30 degrees Celsius (minus 22 degrees Fahrenheit) in the city. Temperatures have dropped by eight to 10 degrees Celsius in Hulun Buir, causing airlines to suspend 145 flights.
