Storm lands in E China, triggering flood

Rainwater brought by tropical storm Nanmadol flooded the streets of Baishuiwan village, Anji county, East China's Zhejiang province, Aug 30, 2011. Torrential rain, brought by the storm, has been falling in the county since Monday night, and triggered floods in many towns and villages. The local government has been evacuating flood victims to safety. Nanmadol landed in Fujian province's Jinjiang city at 2:20 am on Wednesday, packing a wind of 20 meters per second.
