Special police try to recue the "hostage" during an anti-terror exercise in Urumqi, the capital of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, July 28, 2011. The drill held by the public security bureau of Urumqi city involved hundreds of special police officers training to rescue hostages, remove explosives, and stop violent acts. The purpose of the exercise is to improve the capability of anti-terror forces and to prepare for the upcoming "China-Eurasia Expo" that will be held in Urumqi.[Photo/Xinhua]
