No casualties reported in NW China fire

XI'AN - No casualties have been reported after a fire engulfed a two-storey building late Friday night in downtown Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, fire fighters said.

The fire broke out at about 10 pm at the Jinchiniao Entertainment Square, witnesses said.

All the staff member working at the entertainment center were evacuated, Liu Hui, a fire fighter at the scene, told Xinhua.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
