China's Jiao-8 trainer aircraft fires rocket projectiles in a live fire test for the first time since its deployment in the 1990s, April 20, 2011. The live fire test is to exploit the performance of the weapon system of Jiao-8 and increase its long-range and air-to-ground striking ability, sources said.
