Fire breaks out in Beijing's CBD

Firefighters said that no one had been killed or trapped after a workshed caught fire in downtown Beijing on Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out on the third floor of a three-story workshed at a construction site, north of a school in the Hujialou neighborhood around 5 pm, according to the city's fire department.
Fire fighters extinguished the fire around 6:20 p.m..
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The shed that caught fire was located near the city's central business district and heavy, high-reaching smoke caught the attention of many local residents, causing panic in the micro-blog community.
