Village holds good harvest parade
Villagers look on as others celebrate during a traditional parade in Yanzhao village, Shantou city, South China's Guangdong province, Feb 24, 2011. The "tuoshenou" parade, literally means to drag down god's statue, involves fierce body confrontation in which people try to get hold of the statue protected by a guardian and is carried on the shoulders of dozens of others. The activity is a traditional custom for praying for a good harvest. [Photo/Xinhua]
