China's Time-Division Long-Term Evolution (TD-LTE) technology needs expanding overseas, Xi said and needs the government's support. Reducing trade barriers will be conducive to Chinese telecom companies having fair investment opportunities abroad, he added. Exports worth 400 billion yuan and 800,000 jobs will be created as the TD-LTE technology expands overseas helping Chinese telecom companies develop in world mobile telecommunications.
