The "Back to the 1980s" event was held in the city of Changsha, capital of Central China's Hunan province on Sep 4, 2014.

The nostalgic items shown during the event included black-and-white TV sets, iron sheet toys and sewing machines, bringing visitors back to the "good old days." Volunteers working the event were also dressed in clothes reminiscent of China in the 80s, just after the country opened up.
