No 7: China National Petroleum Corp acquired Petrobras Energia Peru SA

CNPC Exploration & Development Co Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese State-owned enterprise China National Petroleum Corp, agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Petrobras Energia Peru SA, a Lima-based oil and gas exploration and production company, from Petrobras de Valores Internacional de Espana SL and Petrobras International Braspetro BV, for $2.6 billion.

Acquirer: China National Petroleum Corp

Target: Petrobras Energia Peru SA

Value: $2.6 billion
