BEIJING - China will "moderately" increase the imports of consumer goods during the next five years, said a draft of the country's 12th Five-year Plan submitted Saturday to national lawmakers for reviewing.

The document said the move would be part of the efforts to boost domestic consumption, one of the engines to fuel the country's economic growth.
