Russia's Security Council Secretary to visit China
Russia's Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev will start a two-day visit to China on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said on Monday.
Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will attend the fourth meeting of China-Russia Law Enforcement Security Cooperative Mechanism with Patrushev during his stay in China. State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Patrushev will hold the 13th round meeting of China-Russia Strategic Security Consultations.
Lu said the two meetings will inject new momentums into law enforcement and strategic security as essential measures to implement the consensuses President Xi Jinping reached with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during his visit to Russia earlier this month.
