Beloved Bao Bao heads to her new home in Chengdu

Bao Bao, the beloved female panda born in Washington D.C., is heading to southwestern Chinese city Chengdu. Bao Bao has boarded her "Panda Express", a FedEx charted flight, accompanied by staff members and bamboos.
Bao Bao, born in August 2013 at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, is the offspring of Mei Xiang and Tian Tian, who have lived at the zoo since 2000.
Shellie Pick, a keeper of Bao Bao, has shared the joy of raising the three-year-old panda during an exclusive interview with China Daily in Washington. Let's take a closer look.
