The Ming-Ai Institute and British Airways are presenting A Tale of Two Cities-Connecting London and Hong Kong until Sunday at the China Exchange on London's Gerrard Street. The exhibition focuses on life in Hong Kong and in London's Chinese communities during the past 80 years and includes the stories of young female orphans who were relocated to the UK in the 1960s and 1970s.

Huawei to unveil handset and growth plans in Beijing

Huawei Technologies Co, the world's third-largest smartphone vendor, will unveil a new handset, the Honor V9, in Beijing on Tuesday. It will target the middle-end market. Also, the company is expected to elaborate on its new business strategy as the domestic market is becoming increasingly crowded, and it is betting on foreign markets for growth.

Expert painting picture of modern Chinese art trends

Pauline Yao, the lead curator for visual art at the new M+ modern art gallery in Hong Kong, will speak at the Whitworth Art Gallery on Oxford Road in Manchester on Tuesday. Yao, who was previously a curator at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, will speak about her research into contemporary Chinese art.
