LONDON - Britain's Queen Elizabeth will not attend a New Year's Day church service on Sunday because of a heavy cold, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
"The Queen does not yet feel ready to attend church as she is still recuperating from a heavy cold," the statement said.
The 90-year-old monarch had already missed a church service on Christmas Day.
