The missing Chinese tourist last seen at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Thailand's Chonburi province has been found. The 36-year-old, Gao Liping, was last seen with her tour group visiting the zoo. Her tour guide later said Gao looked to be in low spirits due to her recent divorce. She preferred to venture off on her own away from the group.
Over 200 police and volunteers joined the search efforts to find Gao. Local authorities also examined footage from the 122 security cameras installed around the zoo in hopes of pinpointing her location.
After being reported missing around 6:00 pm Sunday evening, she was discovered washing her clothes by a river roughly four kilometers away from the zoo on Tuesday morning.
Police reported that despite feeling exhausted, Gao had sustained no injuries.
