M6.0 quake hits off New Zealand: USGS

HONG KONG -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted 143 km south-southeast of Raoul Island, New Zealand at 0235 GMT on Monday (10:35 Beijing time), the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.3964 degrees south latitude and 177.1841 degrees west longitude.
