Chinese Interactive TV cloud service provider targets overseas markets

A leading Chinese Interactive TV cloud service provider launched a new cloud service on Wednesday in Beijing. The new service will reach five overseas markets by the end of this year.
Youpeng Co. Ltd launched the Youpeng Cloud on Wednesday, and Shao Yiding, chairman of the company, says that by the end of this year, Youpeng Cloud service will be brought to five overseas markets in Southeast Asia, Europe, North American, South America, and Australia, and offer cloud service to local partners in the Interactive TV sector.
"We will also use our cloud service to support our overseas partners, for which we could also export good Chinese programs overseas," he says.
Established in 2006, Youpeng Co. Ltd is a leading Chinese interactive TV cloud service provider that offers comprehensive content services, technology support, operation service and promotion service for companies in the interactive TV sector. It has 68 partners in China, and is offering services to more than 50 million families across the nation.
Shao says he expects that by the end of 2018, there will be about 600 million TV screens, and the users of Interactive TV reach will be about 300 million people in China.
