The Ministry of National Defense on Friday dismissed a media report that claimed China had sent a large number of troops to its border with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
"The relevant report is not in accordance with the facts," the ministry said in a written reply to a media request.
"The Chinese military maintains regular combat readiness and training status along the China-DPRK border," the ministry added.
