NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi could visit the US again in June this year for a bilateral meeting with US President Barack Obama, sources said Thursday.
"Though there has been no confirmation on the dates of Modi's visit, it is likely that he goes to that country, along with other world leaders, in the first week of June," the sources said.
The visit will be on an invitation from President Obama whose tenure ends early next year, the sources said.
The Indian Prime Minister has so far visited the Unitede States thrice since assuming office in May 2014 and his latest was in early April when he went to Washington to attend the Nuclear Security Summit.
During Modi's tenure, President Obama also visited India in January last year when he was invited as the chief guest at this country's Republic Day celebrations.
