As a component of the Happy Chinese New Year-China Alive event, Facebook hosted the Chinese chefs, inviting them to cook dishes at the company kitchen for three days during Facebook's Chinese Cuisine Week, which recognizes Chinese culture and celebrates the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year on Feb 8. Luo was joined by Dave Poth, chief chef at Facebook (second from left) and Xiao Xiayong, cultural consul. "Food keeps your stomach warm and your heart happy," Luo said. Poth was impressed by the professionalism his Chinese counterparts demonstrated and said they don't even need translators to communicate. "Food is food, and it's universal," he said.
