M4.9 shallow earthquake detected in DPRK: Chinese seismological agency

BEIJING - A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Wednesday morning, the China Earthquake Network Center (CENC) said.
The tremor struck at 0130 GMT at a depth of 0 km, with its epicenter initially determined to be at 41.3 degrees north latitude and 129.1 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC alert.
