At least 11 killed as storms, tornadoes hit southern US states

The US National Weather Service said the storms are currently moving east but have diminished in strength.
It warned that isolated severe thunderstorms will still be possible in southeastern US states with "a more concentrated threat" across parts of Alabama and Georgia.
