Yaounde Conference Center

Cameroon

The Yaounde Conference Center, covering an area of 30,797 kilometers, was constructed from March 1978 to October 1981 under the aid of Chinese government. The project was a fallout of a win-win partnership between the Chinese and the Cameroonian government as China also supports Cameroon in the field of agriculture, education and infrastructure. The complex got a new facelift on Aug 20, 2015, at an estimated cost of 130 million yuan (12.58 billion CFA franc). [Photo/Xinhua]
