17 Chinese tourists injured in bus accident in Thailand's Phuket

BANGKOK - A total of 17 Chinese tourists were injured after their tour bus overturned in south Thailand's Phuket province on Sunday, China's consular office in Phuket said.
The accident occurred at around 12 p.m. local time on the Bypass Road in the city of Phuket and one tourist was seriously injured, the consular office said.
All the injured have been rushed to a hospital, the office said, citing local police.
So far there is no report of death, the office added.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
