NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a new website dedicated to the International Yoga Day on June 21.
Modi tweeted about the website Wednesday, which will be operated by the Ministry of External Affairs and will contain all information about the programs to be conducted internationally on June 21.
The prime minister, who is tech-savvy yet an avid follower of yoga, an ancient form of Indian exercise, also posted a video on social networking site Facebook.
In the video, Modi can be seen demonstrating Shashankasana, a type of yoga that he claimed was useful in reducing anger and stress.
On June 21, India will organize events across 192 member countries of the United Nations. In the national capital, a mega event has also been planned and Modi will address a gathering.
