The CISAR was the first foreign team who rescued a survivor who was trapped beneath rubble in the Gongabu area after April 26 quake. CISAR rescued two survivors from the rubble during their time in Nepal. According an official report, the team treated more than 2,700 victims and cleared around 430 buildings.
The Nepalese community has taken to social media to show its gratitude to China for its hardworking assistance. Younger people as well have been hailing the effort of CISAR in Nepal, in a sign that the Sino-Nepal bilateral relationship has hit a new level of affinity and mutual respect.
Siddhartha Rai, 24, a Bachelor of Social Science, was also in admiration of CISAR along with his colleagues.
"I heard only about the Chinese," he told to Xinhua, "They are really laborious and honest in their work, we really have to salute them for their great cooperation during the horrific disaster in Nepal," he said.
China is very much considered by the Nepalese as loyal neighbor who is always one of the quickest to show up in times of disaster to save their neighbors with an attitude of selflessness, tenacity, resoluteness, doggedness and, perhaps most important of all, with respect, friendship and dignity.
