Abdullah rejects preliminary results of Afghan presidential elections

KABUL -- Presidential contender Abdullah Abdullah on Tuesday rejected the preliminary of Afghan presidential elections announced on Monday, saying the people want him to announce government.
"The preliminary result of presidential elections announced on Monday is illegitimate and I don't accept it. The people of Afghanistan want us to announce our government," Abdullah said in a public meeting attended by thousands of his supporters under a giant tent here.
