DPRK fires artillery near ROK's patrol ship

SEOUL - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) fired artillery shells near a Republic of Korea (ROK)'s patrol ship sailing around the western maritime border, local broadcaster YTN reported Thursday.
The DPRK started the firing of artillery at about 6:30 pm local time and two shells landed in waters near the ROK's patrol ship sailing near the western sea border. The ROK battleship fired two rounds of shells in response to it.
