King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz paid a three-day state visit to China in January 2006. The two sides signed a protocol on bilateral cooperation in petroleum, natural gas and minerals, as well as several other cooperative documents concerning economy and the training of professionals. |

Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited China in March, 2014. In a joint communique issued by both countries, the two sides pledged to strengthen cooperation in areas such as energy, trade, mineral resources, investment and infrastructure building, as well as in high-tech fields, including aerospace and the peaceful use of nuclear power. |
