One suspect of Boston blast dead, another remains at large

BOSTON - A man wanted in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings has been killed after shooting a police officer while an explosive hunt continues for the other suspect in the sleepy Texas town of Watertown, the Boston Globe reported.
The suspect was caught in Watertown near the US city of Boston after a police officer was shot dead on the campus of the elite Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), according to the newspaper. Click for Live Report
Gunfire and blasts were reported in streets near the MIT as the police are still chasing a second suspect.
It cannot be immediately confirmed whether the MIT shooting is related to the Boston bombings, which killed three people and injured over 170 on Monday.
